DESIRE AND IT’S LIFE CYCLE
•The inclining towards temptation arises because of a fallen nature in our ‘desire’

THE JOD DESCRIPTION OF TEMPTATION
- It is to question God's promises and commands
- It is to make you fell like giving up
- It is to make you take the path into sinning
- It is to make you feel that its okay to disobey God once in awhile
- God's way is a long way, achieve it quicker through a much shorter way
Take Away:
EXAMINE YOUR DESIRES AND RESIST TEMPTATION BY STANDING FIRM ON THE WORD OF TRUTH (Ps 119:105)
EXAMINE YOUR DESIRES AND RESIST TEMPTATION BY STANDING FIRM ON THE WORD OF TRUTH (Ps 119:105)
Satan cited scripture to tempt Jesus and Jesus used scripture to resist the temptation. Then in essence it is not the mere knowledge of God's word that helps us resist but the beleiving of it that will help one resist temptation.
